Dear WSG Instructor/Program Provider,
All major wine education bodies have their own tasting method and grid.
By nature, WSG’s specialization programs go beyond grape varieties and place greater focus on the sense of place that the appellations of France, Italy and Spain promote and protect.
WSG is initiating a research project aimed at designing, assessing and trialing a new, multi-sensorial tasting method designed to empower students to capture and describe a wine’s personality and provenance.
This method will complement and build upon the analytical tasting skills most students of wine are acquiring today.
We would like to ask you to take a few minutes of your time to give us your impressions on the current tasting methods, student needs and aspirations as well as reactions to what a holistic tasting method could and should include.
