Bio
"The best thing about studying wine is no matter how long you work at it you'll never know it all." It is with this in mind that Maggie continues to not only teach about wine but study it. She holds the Certified Specialist of Wine credential from the Society of Wine Educators, a French Wine Scholar post-nominal from The Wine Scholar Guild, and has completed a year of study with The International Sommelier Guild. In addition, she holds Master Level Certificates for the French regions of Provence, the Rhône, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Languedoc-Roussillon. She is certified to teach the French Wine Scholar curriculum and is a Sud de France Certified Instructor. After many years in the retail and wholesale arena Maggie is currently the Sommelier and Dining Services Manager for The Capital City Club along with managing private cellars.
