Your Wine Tour Instructor: Ferran Centelles

Ferran Centelles is a Catalunya native and resident. He is the Spanish wine specialist writing for JancisRobinson.com.

A sommelier for 13 years at the world-renowned El Bulli restaurant, Ferran is also a book author for the elBullifoundation. He is author of the book "¿Qué vino con este pato?" and currently National Co-Chair for Spain at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA). As a wine educator, he shares his passion and expertise at OutlookWine school in Spain.

Ferran was honoured with the National Gastronomy Award in 2011, the Award as Best Sommelier in Spain by Ruinart in 2006 and the Award as Best Sommelier of 2013 by the Catalan Gastronomic Academy.

Your Wine Tour Manager : Danny Adler

Assisting the instructor and making sure logistics run smoothly and that your needs are answered will be Danny Adler.

Danny was born and raised in New York City and has been living and working in Spain in hospitality and travel since 2007. He is captivated by Spanish cuisine, history, and lifestyle. Danny first started as a food and wine guide in Barcelona and then founded his own company focusing on cultural, culinary and adventure travel in Catalunya. With his deep knowledge of the region, he will be able to assist trip participants with any logistical needs they may have.
