Congratulations to Tsai-Hsun (Aaron) Chuang for passing the Alsace Master-Level exam with honors!

About Aaron:

''I am currently the chief editor for the wine media website  www.wineschool.com.tw and got my Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from Wits University in Johannesburg. I spent 16 years in South Africa and was working in financial industry before joining the wine trade.

It was a bottle of South African Gewurtztraminer that got me interested in wines but my passion on wine started after tasting Chianti and Rioja. My first job in wine industry was working as a sales and marketing assistant at a Taiwanese wine merchant which focuses on selling Burgundian wines  and since then Burgundy has been my favourite wine region.  I have been blogging on wine for over 10 years and was a wine-columnist for Decanter Magazine (Mandarin version) and currently the wine-columnist for Wine and Spirit Digest.

For the past three years I was fortunate to work as a host or translator for many famous international wineries such as Famille Perrin of Chateau Beaucastel、 Champagne Salon/Delamotte、Don Melchor、Wolf Blass、Taylor's、Real Companhia Velha of Portugal、Villa Maria、Les Chablisienne etc. I am the also the organizer for Taiwan Wine Blind Tasting competition the past the three years  and  just this I am also the organizer for California Wine Show (consumer event) and  Argentinian Wine Show.

I got my Advance Certificate qualification from Cape Wine Academy and currently studying towards obtaining my WSET Diploma。I am currently a WSET Level II lecturer at Taiwan Wine Academy and I designed South African Wine Courses which was supported by WOSA (Wine of South Africa)

Having studied and passed Alsace Master program I am now more confident in sharing my Alsace knowledge to wine lovers and I hope that Alsatian wines will sell better in Asia (especially Taiwan!) soon.''
