Congratulations to Anne Richter Arnold for passing the Champagne Master Level program with highest honors!

About Anne:

I am a wine writer/blogger and educator and a passionate wine enthusiast. My goal with classes, events and teaching WSET courses through Commonwealth Wine School is to make wine knowledge accessible and fun. There’s so much to know and it can be daunting, but once you expand your knowledge and experience new wine styles, a whole world of possibilities opens. My Wine Scholar Guild studies have been essential to creating a knowledge base that I can share to educate others about wine through my writing or through education.

I am a Certified Specialist of Wine and I am currently completing my WSET diploma studies. I have found the WSG programs to be extremely informative and a great complement to my other studies.  I just started the WSG online instructor led Italy Wine Scholar part 1 program. I have already completed the French and Spanish wine Scholar programs, both instructor-led, which I have found to be an extremely enjoyable and successful way to study countries in depth. For my Champagne Master Level I studied remotely every week for nearly a year with another Master Level candidate. And we both achieved highest honors on our exams!

Studying Champagne in depth not only helped tremendously with my WSET diploma Sparkling Wine unit, it has allowed me to branch out and specialize my tasting events and classes to focus on helping wine lovers understand the nuances of champagne, the region’s rich history, and the intricacies of making this fantastic beverage. I have held several master classes on Champagne and have more planned…there’s so much to experience and so many styles, and it is a place like no other. My Master Level course allowed me to understand Champagne and the region in a way that I could not have with any other program. It’s just so comprehensive. I look forward to taking the Alsace Master Level program next year.
