Congratulations Jolanta Smiciene for passing the Champagne Master-Level exam with honors!
Jolanta is currently a wine (and champagne) lector and consultant. She regularly provides tastings, dinners, lectures for connoisseurs and professionals. One of her main activities is training the staff of import companies, HORECA employees. Another part of her cooperation with import companies is consulting and arranging the wine (mainly champagne) portfolio.
Jolanta also works as a Wine and Travel journalist, writing about World wines. She is the author of most of the articles about Champagne published in Lithuania. She is also a member of the International Wine Journalist Association (FIJEV). Jolanta constantly presents reports from the Champagne region, writes analytical articles concerning the Champagne market and douse interviews with Champagne region winemakers, winegrowers, cellar masters.
Jolanta is also Dame Chevalier de l'Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne.
