Congratulations to Eeun Im, FWS, for passing the French Wine Scholar exam with highest honors with WSA Wine Academy, South Korea.
I was a wine enthusiast until three years ago. But the more I enjoyed wine, the more curious I became about it. As I studied WSET, I naturally started working in the wine industry. Currently I’ve been working at KS Wine Company as a brand manager. My main job is to introduce and educate the brands of my company to many consumers. I’m very happy and responsible to introduce wines, which are hidden treasures to many wine lovers. I will work more passionately to introduce a variety of wines to my consumers.
I passed WSET level 3 last year. Also I'm certified in some short wine study like New Zealand wine Certification, Bordeaux Wine Master from CIVB, Wine of Portugal with intermediate level and Australian wine master. Whenever I have spare time, I try to attend wine educations or seminars. However, there was still a thirst for knowledge of the wines of each country, and the FWS was well suited to quench that thirst. I was able to learn more about the history of French wine and wines of various regions. After that, I’m planning to study IWS and SWS as well.
Through the FWS program, I was able to learn more about the history and characteristics of each of France's wine regions. So I could understand my French wine brands better than before and introduce them to consumers better. In addition, through the FWS program, I’ve became more interested in French wines that have not been imported yet and have been able to review them more closely than before. I would like to become a person who can read the trends of the global wine market and introduce various wines to consumers by continuously studying wines.
