''I am in the Wine industry since 20 years now. I have started my wine education and first experience in this industry working in the Champagne area at Champagne TAITTINGER one of the most prestigious family owned champagne house. This experience lead me to know more about wines and naturally I developed my interest on Bordeaux wines and joined as a Director one of the most important Bordeaux wine negociant SOVEX WOLTNER specialized on Petits chateaux wines and Classified growth. The great Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux attracted me so much that I decided then to joined as a partner a Bordeaux Grands Crus Specialist named H.M.S and developed the sales of those magic wines Worldwide.
I start now a new challenge and career taking over the management of the Union des Producteurs de Saint Emilion, UDP, the Saint Emilion Cooperative taking care of 150 wine growers and their 700 Hectares of vines.
I am been educated with a Master on Marketing Management and most of my wine education has been made on the field. I had the feeling I should emphasize my knowledge on wines, and at first sight on French wines. The FWS answered 100% of my need.
The FWS program has been of real interest for me. As a wine lover and a Bordeaux wines specialist it was important for me to enlarge my knowledge on other French Wines. Our country is so rich concerning wine varieties, history, grapes, appellation , terroirs, vinification process, that it seems to me absolutely essential to know more about it.
The FWS program is a really full and complete program and brought me the very precise and detailed information on any French wine any wine lover should know.
I feel now much more comfortable with this topic in General, and this will probably help me a lot in my every day professional task.''
