Congratulations to Ginny Endecott, FWS, for passing the French Wine Scholar exam with highest honors!

About Ginny:

I’ve gone from being a wine enthusiast to wine student to wine instructor with more curiosity and passion as time has gone by.  Additionally, I have always been a Francophile at heart, and truly loved the French Wine Scholar curriculum and text.   I initially achieved the French Wine Scholar designation in 2014, as a student; I didn’t know then that I would eventually be an instructor at the very school I was attending!  I have been a WSET instructor at the Texas Wine School since May of 2016, as well as instructing numerous consumer classes.  I re-took the FWS exam with the goal of achieving Highest Honors and being able to instruct the class.

I have achieved WSET 3 and CSW.  I also have achieved the Master Accreditation of Champagne through the Wine Scholar Guild, and am currently studying for the Master Accreditation of Bordeaux exam.  Next stop will be the Master Accreditation of Alsace.  I am hoping to eventually obtain all of the Master Accreditations in France that the Wine Scholar Guild offers.  This Francophile is pretty serious about her love for the wines of France!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the FWS program and the learning opportunities it has provided me, particularly the opportunity to take the Master classes and be a travelling student along with other wine lovers.  Now I am approaching the FWS program from the other side of the coin – as an instructor, and find that it opens up even more in-depth learning.
