About John:
I am a wine enthusiast. I have been enjoying and studying wine for many years. Now, I don’t just order my favorite, I look at the list and see the different countries and regions and when intrigued, I explore. It’s a lot of fun.
I am a Certified Wine Specialist. That opened my eyes to the World of Wine. I learned so much about grapes, places, climate, soils and people. The FWS program help really begin to focus on what everything was about and how terroir can make all the difference.
I am taking a break from studying wine while I focus on what to do next. It might be a Champagne Master class or the Italian Wine Specialist…so many choices!
The knowledge gained has allowed me to speak professionally when I order wine with the Sommelier, it allows me to have a myriad of facts and tidbits of information for conversation about wine and the various regions in France, and it provides me with a knowledge of wine labels that put a smile rather than a frown on my face.
