About Joseph:
"I am a newcomer to the world of wine. After attending a lifelong learning class on Italian wines last summer taught by Sheral Schowe of Wasatch Academy of Wine, I decided to enroll in Italian Wine Scholar I through Wasatch Academy. My appetite whet, I then enrolled in the French Wine Scholar course, followed by Italian Wine Scholar II. I now hold both certifications.
The French Wine Scholar program opened up a side of France to me that I certainly didn’t experience as a Mormon missionary there when I was young. Besides serving as a gateway to the wonderful world of French wine, I also met some wonderful people who have become good friends and with whom I can share my new-found passion for wine. I plan to go on to take regional courses through the Wine Scholar Guild as well as explore other wine education programs such as ISW."
