About Michael:
I was recently hired as a tasting host at Williams Selyem in Healdsburg CA. This is my first job in the wine world and I am thrilled to be starting my career at such a prestigious winery. I had a small business that was affected by Covid and I decided it was time for a career change. My wife and I packed up and moved to Santa Rosa from Chicago so that I could pursue my dream of working in wine country.
In addition to receiving my FWS designation I also recently received my WSET level 3 certification and plan to start diploma level at the end of May. FWS has provided a deep dive into French wines which will help me prepare for the WSET diploma level.
FWS provides a deep dive into french wines that is crucial in preparing for high level exams. I have always had a passion for French wine and through the FWS program I was able to learn and appreciate even more about the history and the wines of France.
