FWS has been “double-click” into my favorite wine region, greatly expanding my knowledge, understanding, appreciation and respect of French wines. 
Congratulations to Paul ‘t Hoen, FWS, for passing the French Wine Scholar exam with highest honors with the Florida Wine Academy.
About Paul:
Wine of course is a pleasure in its own right. Sharing wine furthers friendship, makes for better food-moments and facilitates business. Knowing and understanding wine – the context, its people, the vineyard and winemaking – multiplies the pleasure. Somewhat like visiting an art museum knowing, or not, about art history.
During the lockdown I achieved WSET-L3 and FWS certifications. FWS has been “double-click” into my favorite wine region, greatly expanding my knowledge, understanding, appreciation and respect of French wines.
SWS is down the road, as are Champagne, Loire, Rhone, Bordeaux and Bourgogne Master Levels.
What follows from the FWS program? Who knows… perhaps open a WSG franchise in Mexico City!
