Congratulations to Thomas Branco Rossmark Schramm, FWS, for achieving highest honors in the French Wine Scholar exam with Eno Cultura!

About Thomas:

I am a wine enthusiast. I have always found wine interesting, since my parents drank it daily. From a young age I did a few courses, but nothing serious. As I got older, my passion increased, so I decided to learn more, and started studying more seriously.

I don’t work with wine professionally (the main business of my company is Real State), but my brother and I are planning to start a wine related business. For now, we create beverage related content on Instagram at @silenusetilica.

I have the WSET Level 3 Certificate in Wines and I am also a Beer Sommelier by Doemens/ESCM. The FWS program helped me get much deeper, especially about French Wines. Also, the focus the program gives on soils, climates, etc., helped understand better the influence terroir has on wine.

Now I am enrolled in a Professional Sommelier course by ABS (Brazilian Sommelier Association). The FWS Program will make it much easier, definitively. I also intend, soon, to do the SWS and IWS programs, and after the WSET Diploma.

The FWS program will make my next studies much easier and comprehensible. It also opened my mind to the quantity of different wines there is. There were so many wines I didn’t know, and only in France! I must try more!
