The comprehensive material puts matters in perspective, provides not only structure but also the right wine vernacular for both my consultancy practice and my personal experience.
Issa Keshek, FWS, Wine Consultancy & Education

Congratulations to Issa Keshek, FWS and student of the Napa Valley Wine Academy for having passed the French Wine Scholar exam with the highest honors!

    About Issa:

''Although I may have started as a Wine enthusiast; I opted to expand my knowledge horizons through a series of courses and self -education programs. Being passionate about wines I enrolled in a number of formal degrees at several European Wine Academies and participated in numerous specialized workshops in both the new and old wine worlds across the globe.

Determined to pursue a profession where my passion lies, I am in a Wine Consultancy & Education practice to guide organizations into making more appropriate wine choices and aficionados into discovering their palates to appreciate and enjoy wines.

A member of several wine societies, a regular speaker at forums I am also one of the panellists to select wines for premium cabins of a number of airlines.

Many reference France as a benchmark for wine production and I certainly do! The sophistication and uniqueness of French wines has always been an inspiration. I chose the French Wine Scholar program for the wealth of information it provides about the history, significance of terroir and the laws.

The comprehensive material puts matters in perspective, provides not only structure but also the right wine vernacular for both my consultancy practice and my personal experience. It also enabled me to discover more about French wines to determine what region I would select for my Master of Wine credential. I evaluated a number of programs but undergoing the French Wine Scholar was the right choice and focus.

If I have to summarize – the FWS program makes my world of French wines rotate in the right direction … A votre sante''
