About Michael:
I’m definitely a wine enthusiast! I first got into California wine after visiting friends but grew to love old world wines, especially Italian wines as my family is originally from Lake Como and Sicily. I love that there are hundreds of Italian varietals that grow nowhere else in the world.
This is the first wine certification class I’ve taken but I’m going to take on another challenge and start WSET level 3 next month. After that, probably French and Spanish wine Scholar and then WSET level 4.
I feel that the IWS course will help to serve as a great foundation for future studies.
