About Tommasella:
I am the CEO of The Good Wine Habit, a WSET Approved Programme Provider based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I am WSET Diploma graduate and a Wine Certified Educator from the WSET and Vinitaly International Academy. Alongside teaching WSET courses in Sweden (Level 1, 2 and 3 in Wines) and the online Diploma for the WSET London school, I am Vinitaly Italian Wine Ambassador and Valpolicella Specialist certified by the Consorzio Tutela Vini della Valpolicella for the Swedish market, organizing wine tastings and masterclasses focused on Italian wines. Furthermore, I regularly participate as a wine judge in Italian and International wine competitions.
I passed the Italian Wine Scholar with Highest Honors in 2021 and the French Wine Scholar with Honors in 2016.
I got my WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits in 2015, after passing the WSET Level 2 and 3 in Wines in 2012 and 2013 respectively. I became WSET Certified Educator in 2017, Vinitaly Italian Wine Ambassador in 2018, Certified Italian Wine Educator from Vinitaly International Academy in 2019, and Valpolicella Specialist in 2019.
The IWS program complemented my Italian Wine studies and certifications, increasing my knowledge about Italian wines and regions. I found the program really helpful and comprehensive, a must-have for both a wine professional and wine enthusiast.
The IWS certification will of course enhance my knowledge and skills as a wine educator and wine judge in Italian and International Wine competitions. It´s fundamental to show the right credentials for being recognized as an Italian wines expert especially when living and working outside Italy. I hope one day to be able to offer the IWS certification in Sweden!
