Congratulations to Laurie Love, FWS who have passed her French Wine Scholar exam with 98%, earning the highest honors! She has followed and passed her exam with Napa Valley Wine Academy.
Laurie is Wine Club Manager and Tasting Room Associate for Silver Mountain Vineyards (Santa Cruz Mountains).
About Laurie:
''I am both a wine enthusiast and a wine professional. My passion for wine began at a very young age. I was born in Germany and spent my early childhood years living in several countries in Europe, including France. During those European years, my dad, who was a wine enthusiast as well, began teaching me about wine. From that time on, I gained an appreciation for and love of all things wine. My lifelong passion for wine was a hobby until I began my wine career. My career in the wine industry began fairly recently, less than a year ago in fact.
I intend to pursue certifications in WSET Level 3, CSW, and Court of Sommeliers Level 1 and 2. My FWS certification has given me confidence in pursuing my wine education, and given me a foundation from which to build. I am very proud of my FWS certification!''
