Congratulations to Brendan Feeney for passing the Provence Master-Level exam with highest honors!

About Brendan:

''My interest in French food and wine was initiated by the exploits of the infamous Keith Floyd. Opportunities to enjoy at first hand the very distinct and much varied regional fare and libations were afforded by subsequent periods of study in Paris, careers in hospitality, sales, education and interpreting (Dutch, English, French and German) and many a summer spent traveling throughout France.

As a way of adding more specific, in-depth industry knowledge to that experience and to the WSET certification and seminars taken with IWEG in Toronto, enrollment in the French Wine Scholar course was ideal.

The Provence Master Level Program, with its comprehensive content and opportunity to learn from such an expert as Elizabeth Gabay, has allowed me to develop a sound understanding and acute appreciation of the complexity of all that is Provencal. Upon completion of the Rhone Master Level course, I am looking forward to embarking on an exciting career in the industry, completing the transition from wine enthusiast to wine professional.''
