I am an enthusiastic wine professional. Out of 15 years of a hospitality career path more than half of it is wine related. My passion for wine and all that comes with it has brought me to where I am now. Working for the planet's best company in the industry I get an opportunity to share this passion and experience with thousands of wine lovers and enthusiasts from around the world throughout the tastings, exciting and at times unexpected food and wine pairings and much, much more. Wine is one of the most thrilling ways to discover the history, the people and culture of the land, and I feel blessed to be able to sail the globe and be the sort of a wine guide for our guests as we visit the most celebrated wine regions of the world.
My wine studies have long time been my biggest hobby and favourite pass time. I have got my wine books/ magazines/maps in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and even my daughters room. So it's all more of a lifestyle than studies. Although I got seriously intersted in wines of Spain several years back. I have read every bit of information on the subject that I could get a hold of and of course it all led me to the SWS program. It turned out to be one of the most exciting months of my life. It is indeed the most in depth and comprehensive program on Spanish wines and regions in the world and the way it is structured is simply amazing as it kept me on the edge of my seat from the moment I opened the manual till I clicked the submit button after completing the final exam.
My passion for Spanish wine only grows bigger day by day and having such a solid achievement as SWS gives me confidence to carry on and climb new heights. I aim to receive Certified Sherry Educator certification at the nearest possible opportunity as well Rioja Wine Certified Educator. And most importantly carry on advocating for Spanish wine anywhere my work takes me.
