About Sen Wong:
I am a wine professional and also a wine lover. I have been working in the wine industry for 13 years. I started my career in the wine industry in 2008 when I was working as the first Chinese Manager in ENOTECA HONG KONG.
I established my own company, SEN WINE COMPANY, in 2014 and we are importing, distributing and retailing French fine wines and Italian wines in Hong Kong. After travelling in 38 countries worldwide for 16 months, I further developed the wine tourism business in 2015.
I have passed all the units of WSET level 4 Diploma and I am now waiting for the certificate. By the end of August I will start a new chapter in my career as a part-time wine educator in AWSEC in Hong Kong and southern China which is also my long-term career goal.
I have completed the WSET level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits. I have also passed both French Wine Scholar and Italian Wine Scholar with highest honors.
Wine Scholar Guild program is much more interesting and in-depth than the WSET program.
Learning is like rowing a boat against the current, if you stop moving forward you will fall back. Therefore, I will definitely keep studying wines and taking wine certification programs in the future.
The SWS program has further enhanced my knowledge and understanding about the grape varieties, wine styles and wine regions of Spain. It has also largely aroused my interest in drinking Spanish wines.
