Quite regularly I visit wineries abroad and in Belgium (oh yeah we do have really good wines here!). You can often find me organizing or attending tastings with other wine enthusiasts. I like to talk and teach about wine. Recently I started sharing on Instagram. I’m a member of the Flemish Association of Sommeliers. Next to wine my other passion is aviation. Besides the SWS, I attended WSET level 2 and 3 and the FWS. For now I consider WSET 4 way too time consuming. The Wine Scholar Guild programs are nice extensions to the WSET 3 courses. Currently I’m attending the Californian Capstone program and the MOOC Champagne courses too. I would like to start the Italian Wine Scholar from the moment COVID-19 will allow again live tastings.
The SWS program is a perfect way to deepen and broaden wine knowledge.
